Our goal is to protect the GLBTQA community we serve. OASIS takes the issue of privacy very seriously.This document is intended to address concerns with interacting and sharing information with OASIS - The GLBT Center of Northeast Florida (OASIS) and OasisJacksonville.org.
How Does OASIS collect information from visitors on OasisJacksonville.org?
OASIS - The GLBT Center of Northeast Florida provides for several methods of collecting data from users including
1. User registration information, which must include, at the least, a user name, password, and, sometime, Date of Birth.
2. Subscription information for items such as periodic literature, attendance based programs, and our newsletters.
3. Social Integration, to communicate and converse on topics presented on our site, we have opted for a socially integrated site. Information you share from these sites is optional and governed by their own privacy policies of which we attempt to strictly adhere.
4. In accordance with best practices for information collected, OASIS does enforce a "double approval" method for using the features of OasisJacksonville.org. "Double Approval" prevents spoofing, spamming, and impersonation and insures you truly intended to subscribe or provide your information to OASIS.
How does OASIS protect the information collected from visitors?

Optional, personal information may be required if you purchase merchandise, an OASIS membership, or wish to attend a private or limited engagement function of OASIS.
